







This year's sale is February 17, 2012
Last year's 30th Anniversary Sale consisted of 117 donated heifers, a number of lots of semen, and other misc. items. The heifers sold for $150,250 (averaging $1,284/head) Total proceeds including additional cash donations brought the sale total to over $166,000.
Topping the sale at $5,000 each were two heifers: Quality Minister donated by Irvin and Ellen Jantzi, purchased by John Albrecht, and Hanalee Shottle Dawn, donated by Mennonite Savings and Credit Union, purchased by Walker Farms.
Also selling well was Fradon Goldwyn Arley donated by Roy Snyder & Associates,Murray Gerber, and Ken Erb, purchased by Walker Farms for $4,700, and Fradon Jericho Malory donated by Roy Synder and Associates, for $4,000 to Nelson Weber.
A special thanks to all who donated heifers, especially first time donors, as well as all volunteers making it once again another successful sale. Special thanks to David Carson Farms and Auction Services for providing staff and facilities. Also to all buyers including volume buyers Laverne Martin, John Walker Farms, Carson Farms, Bill Haalstra, and Andy Alma. Another thanks to buyers who purchased and re-donated heifers with special thanks to Farm Credit Canada and Royal Bank Canada.
